Torpedo Run in the altitudes" is the motto of this years’ Torpedo Run, one of the most spectacular automotive events in the world. Torpedo Run will be held between 12th September 2008 and 14th September 2008. For the fourth year in succession, car enthusiasts from Europe and overseas can look forward to exclusive lifestyle and an extraordinary mobile party. The Torpedo Run gives you a long weekend of sheer fun!
With the start in Ahaus, North of Düsseldorf (Germany) the teams drive via luxury Paris and the mountains to St. Tropez to celebrate the Grand Final at the Mediterranean coast. Torpedo Run is not a race, it’s about passion. So we got the official go of the government and administrative authority!
The locations and venues this year are something not to be missed. You can look forward to action-packed events, stunning routes, breathtaking mountain passes, gourmet food, luxury hotels and funky parties - the cream of the crop. The paradise for automotive lifestyle has a name: Torpedo Run.

This years’ Torpedo Run will be held between 12th September 2008 and 14th September 2008. With the start in Ahaus, North of Düsseldorf (Germany), and end in St. Tropez (France) at the Mediterranean coast, you can look forward to an extraordinary mobile party the like of which you will never have experienced before.
Torpedo Run gives you a weekend of sheer fun: action-packed events, awsome locations, amazing views and breathtaking mountain passes. In addition culinary pleasures, luxury hotels and stylish parties. New challenges and exclusive events are going to await you at all times.
During the Torpedo Run you experience several European countries. Starting in Ahaus you drive across the Benelux countries to Paris, the luxury capital of France. From thence across the land of the volcanos to Lyon. Before arriving at St. Tropez, the embodiment of jet set tourism, you will experience thrilling mountain roads and impressive massifs. Each night you will stay in luxury hotels, revel in culinary pleasures and celebrate eccentric parties.

We bring a wealth of experience: Torpedo Run already takes place for the fourth year in succession.
The sign-in takes place at our favourite starting location: the spectacular Tobit.Elements in Ahaus, Germany. There you become a pilot! The simulators allow unlimited twists of 360 degrees over the roll as well as over the pitch axes - a real adrenaline rush.
Already on the first day we drive from Ahaus (Germany) to Paris, the impressive capital of France. This fascinating metropolis has its own legendary charme and belongs to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This luxury city is known for glamour, culinary extravaganze and world-famous historic sites, e. g. the Eiffel Tower.
But before arriving in Paris the participants can look forward to an altitude event loaded with action and fun - probably in a way you have not experienced before.
The myth of Paris is also formed by the attractive nighlife. The Torpedo Runners will get to know it in a gorgeous way. Days and nights during the Torpedo Run shall remain unforgettable!
From Paris the Torpedo Run continues to the land of the volcanos, a circumscription for the the big Massif Central mountains fascinating by extincted volcanos, glittering crater lakes, impressive volcanic cones and wild gorges. Already the streets of the Massif Central offer drivers a lot of fun. But the Torpedo Run stops in the mountains for a breath-taking event.
From thence the Torpedo Runners drive to Lyon, the the French capital of gastronomy. Reasons enough to taste the delicous gourmet food - a pleasure for the fastidious palates. Furthermore Lyon is the number 2 of France concerning the variety of nightlife. There we will celebrate a wild party and stay gorgeous overnight.
Torpedo Run follows the roads to elegant St. Tropez. But before arriving at the Mediterranean coast we will spectacularly conquer the winding and attractive mountain roads of the Western Alps. It is hard to describe the amazing scenery. You have to experience it by yourself - like the daily event located in the mountains. Though we are still keeping some surprises.
St. Tropez, located on the French Riviera, is the embodiment of jet set tourism. The town, known for its famous guests, offers the perfect atmosphere for the Grand Final, including a delicious gala dinner, where we can exchange our experiences of a great weekend.

Jamiroquai, the British superstars, and their charismatic singer Jay Kay are world famous. The Grammy Award-winning band fills the audience with enthusiasm during live acts. We can proudly announce a sensation: The pre-event party of this years’ Torpedo Run will take place with Jamiroquai in Ahaus, Gemany, on the 16th of August 2008!
The Torpedo Runners will be informed explicitly and can look forward to an exclusive guest area, a great party, catering until late at night and other special amenities. The best is just good enough for the Torpedo Run.
