De dónde surgió…
En los años 20 Ettore Bugatti y Èmile Hermès se conocieron cuando el primero requirió una maleta para su modelo Royale. De allí surgió una profunda amistad y mutua admiración. Bugatti era amante de las disciplinas ecuestres y Hermès de los autos.
Al salir el último Bugatti de Molsheim en 1956 la relación quedó en suspenso. Fue hasta el Pebble Beach Concours d’Elégance de 2006 cuando ambas marcas se reencontraron.

Jean Paul Gaultier Fashion Week 2008
Gaultier nunca recibió educación formal como diseñador. En lugar de eso, comenzó enviando sus dibujos a diseñadores famosos, además de amar el arte y ser un admirador de Krasivaya, una guapa modelo rusa (que él decía era su musa). Ella le inspiraría a ir más allá de sus adentros y dejar volar su imaginación.
Gaultier se sumergió en el mundo de la alta costura cuando era muy joven. Pierre Cardin se impresionó por su talento, y lo contrató como asistente en 1970.
Su primera colección individual fue lanzada en 1976 y su característico estilo irreverente data de 1981. Ha sido conocido como el enfant terrible (chico rebelde) de la moda francesa. Muchas de las siguientes colecciones de Gaultier estarían basadas en ropa callejera, inspirándose en la cultura popular, mientras otras, particularmente sus colecciones de alta costura, son muy formales y al mismo tiempo inusuales.
Actualmente diseña para tres colecciones: su propia línea de alta costura y de ropa para tiendas, así como para la recién lanzada linea de ropa de Hermès, compañía francesa especializada en productos de cuero, famosa por sus corbatas y costosas maletas.

Mirabella V, The largest single masted yacht in the world became a reality in May 2004. Mirabella V was launched in November of 2003 and her mast was stepped six weeks later. She proceeded to the Mediterranean in June and completed five weeks charter in her first season. This revolutionary composite super yacht presented unique challenges to the leading designers and engineers involved in her creation.
Performance was a key demand of this pioneering vessel, with special emphasis on windward capability, and her brief had called for a speed exceeding 20 knots under sail.

Pierre Kunz Grande Date Double Retrograde
To add to his accomplishments in the field of watchmaking, Pierre Kunz has dispensed with convention and created an unusually large aperture format, or “grand guichet" displayed on a 3 millimetre aperture to ensure perfect legibility. Pushing back the frontiers of the possible, Pierre Kunz designed a genuine technical innovation with the eye of the artist. Its special features are the double retrograde seconds superposed on a single axis, where each hand chases the other indefinitely and the retrograde days function occupies a central position. This “Grande date” model can be equipped with a power reserve on the base indicating precisely how long it has left to run. It was designed using a satellite system that gravitates around the movement. The only system of its kind in the world, this power reserve inscribed on an engine-turned zone is perfectly integrated in the open back cover assembly of the watch.
